Drone Strike Targets al-Qaeda’s Emirs in Marib

An emir of al-Qaeda organization has been killed in the early of Wednesday by a drone strike believed to be an American in Marib province in northeastern Yemen.

Local sources in Jawf province told Yemen Press Agency that a drone targeted an abandoned house in Hadba Al Awshan area south of Marib.

According to the same sources, the raid targeted one of al-Qaeda emirs in Shabwah province, as he was returning from fighting along with Saudi-led coalition forces in one of Wadi Abeida areas.

The source added, that members of the terrorist organization transported the body of the emir, amid a great secrecy about his personality.

There was no comment from the Hadi puppet government’s authorities in Marib about the raid.
