On the anniversary of unity, Al-Mashat calls on adversaries to sign an honor pact

The President of the Supreme Political Council in Sana’a, Mahdi al-Mashat, emphasized the need to correct the course of unity, stating: “We affirm our position with the injustice suffered by our people in the south and north and their full right to reform and correct the course of unity and all the tragedies of the defunct regime and brutal aggression suffered by them”.

Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

In his speech on the occasion of the anniversary of Yemeni unity, Al-Mashat called on “all Yemeni parties and adversaries to sign an honor pact to stop bloodshed and preserve freedom, sovereignty, and independence,” also calling for “leaving the foreigner’s square of the aggressor on their people and country, and then meeting on a common word.”

Regarding the Jeddah and Arab League declaration, the President of the Political Council in Sana’a criticized the disregard for the demand to stop the war on Yemen and lift the blockade imposed for nine years, expressing his rejection of the declaration, which he said, “calls for surrender, and Sana’a does not accept surrender.” In addition, it prolongs the war.

Al-Mashat pointed out that the attendees of the Arab summit did not remember that Sana’a is one of the six founding members of the Arab League and that the League did not even comply with the simplest diplomatic norms towards its founding goals.

He added in his speech: “The United States and the West can no longer lecture Arabs on human rights after they created in Yemen, with their weapons and complicity, the worst crisis and catastrophe in history,” expressing his hope that everyone will quickly review and correct their actions before it is too late because “history does not forgive, and Yemen will not forgive either,” according to him.
