The Israeli army announced on Wednesday the killing of nine soldiers during a battle in Gaza, without immediately providing details about the location and timing of this.

Haaretz newspaper reported this morning that these soldiers were killed on Tuesday when their vehicle was targeted by an anti-tank shell.
Meanwhile, the Jerusalem Post published the names of the nine soldiers.
