A second US nuclear submarine arrives in the Red Sea

On Tuesday, the US sent a second nuclear submarine to the Gulf.

Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni / Washington:

The US Department of Defense reported that the submarine USS Florida has arrived in the Red Sea.

After the US Defense Department announced earlier on Monday that the USS Ohio had arrived in the region, this submarine is the second to arrive in the region.

The US submarines are added to a massive naval fleet that Washington has deployed in the Red Sea, most notably the nuclear aircraft carrier “USS Eisenhower”, the destroyer “USS Carney”, and the amphibious reconnaissance ship “USS Bataan”. Currently, all of them are stationed in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden after successfully crossing the Egyptian Suez Canal after it had been deployed in the Mediterranean Sea as a threat to Hezbollah, whose have increased the West and America’s fears that it will officially enter the front line.

The map of the new military deployment shows that, despite the US’s attempts to justify its actions as a means of “deterring Iran” and the Resistance Axis, the US is actually attempting to occupy the Straits of Hormuz and Bab Al-Mandab, the most significant shipping lanes in the region, for reasons related to imposing the economic line that connects India to the West, among other reasons, and for military objectives meant to limit the engagement of regional countries or its resistance movements in defense of Gaza, most notably Yemen, which formally declared its entry into the confrontation with the Israeli occupation.
