Video| Order the evacuation of hospitals constitutes a collective death sentence… Israeli attacks target Al-Shifa Hospital surroundings

Yesterday, the Israeli occupation entity launched a series of intense airstrikes targeting the surroundings of Al-Shifa Hospital and Al-Shati Camp west of Gaza City, including the launching of internationally banned phosphorous bombs.

Follow-up / Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Ashraf Al-Qidra, the spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, stated that the vicinity of Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza is being subjected to intense shelling by the occupation entity.

Doctors described the shelling as “insane” and reported the presence of snipers from the occupying soldiers positioned on buildings in the northern and southern areas of the hospital. The intensity of the gunfire prevents anyone from moving within the hospital’s courtyards.

He pointed out that the hospital lacks the medical capabilities to treat the wounded and patients. Al-Qidra added, “If the only small generator operating in the hospital stops, it will result in the deaths of 43 children in the incubators and 62 patients in the intensive care unit.”

The Israeli occupation army targeted the electricity generator behind Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza, according to Al-Aqsa Channel.

Ismail Al-Thawabta, the Director General of the Government Information Office in Gaza, stated that “hospitals are gradually dying.”

The UN Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, considered “the evacuation orders received by hospitals in Gaza, including Al-Shifa Hospital, as death sentence.”

According to Al-Thawabta, Al-Shifa Medical Complex includes more than 40,000 displaced individuals, Al-Quds Hospital more than 14,000, and Al-Nasr Pediatric Hospital over 5,000.
