An important comment from an Ansar Allah spokesman

Mohammed Abdulsalam, the head of Sana’a’s negotiating delegation, responded to Washington’s decision to designate the Houthi movement as a terrorist organization, stating that this classification “reflects a clear and exposed aspect of America’s hypocrisy.”

Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Abdulsalam stated in a post on the “X” social media platform that America intends with this decision “to harm Yemen in support of Israel” and to encourage Israel to continue its genocidal war against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

Abdulsalam emphasized that Yemen, in its supportive stance towards Gaza, “will not be affected and will not back down from it because it is a principled, moral, and humanitarian position.”

He pointed out that it is Washington that encourages, supports, and backs global terrorism by supporting “Israel’s coming to our waters and attacking our territories,” adding, “We are not the ones who went to the shores and coasts of America.”

Meanwhile, Abdulsalam concluded his statement by affirming that Yemen continues to support Gaza through all available means and will continue to prevent Israeli ships or those heading to the occupied ports of Palestine until the Israeli aggression stops and the siege on Gaza is lifted.

Earlier, the U.S. Department of the Treasury announced in a statement on its website that the sanctions imposed by the US on the “Ansar Allah” group came into effect yesterday, Friday.
