America reveals details of naval confrontations favoring Yemen

On Sunday, US forces unveiled details of the confrontations that took place in the Red Sea during an attempt to secure the passage of a British oil tanker to Israel.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The US Central Command reported that its battleships engaged in confrontations with the Yemeni navy north of Al-Mokha in an attempt to repel an attack on the oil tanker “MT Polux.” The Yemeni forces launched several cruise missiles and gunboats, including three directed towards the oil tanker.

The new statement confirmed the failure of the US battleships to repel the Yemeni attack, acknowledging that the ship sustained damage despite claiming to have destroyed two missiles and an unmanned boat.

The Yemeni armed forces, in a statement by their official spokesman, confirmed the targeting of the “Polux” ship and achieving a direct hit.

This recent operation is one of several adopted by the Sana’a forces, and its pace escalated in response to America and Britain’s announcement of operations to secure the passage of ships heading to the occupation ports by deploying battleships to accompany those ships during their passage through the Red Sea and the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait, which Sana’a has banned navigation to the ports of occupation.
