Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesman for Sana’a forces, stated in a recent statement that the naval forces affiliated with Sana’a carried out a qualitative military operation targeting the British ship “RUBYMAR” in the Gulf of Aden. He clarified that the operation was carried out with appropriate naval missiles.
According to Brigadier General Saree’s statement, the operation resulted in “severe damage to the ship, causing it to come to a complete halt and be at risk of sinking in the Gulf of Aden.” He further explained that Sana’a forces ensured the safe evacuation of the ship’s crew during the operation.
Moreover, Sana’a forces announced that the Yemeni air defenses succeeded in shooting down an American plane (MQ-9) with an appropriate missile while it was carrying out hostile missions against Yemen and in favor of the Israeli enemy.
In the statement, Sana’a forces emphasized that they “will not hesitate to take further military actions and carry out more qualitative operations against all hostile targets in defense of Yemen and in confirmation of the position of support for the Palestinian people.”
Additionally, Sana’a forces emphasized that their operations in the Red and Arabian Seas will not cease until the aggression stops and the blockade on Gaza is lifted.”
