Confirmation of an Israeli vessel’s hit in the Gulf of Aden

Britain revealed on Monday the identity of a ship that was targeted in the Gulf of Aden.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The British maritime security company, Ambrey, reported that a container ship flying the Liberian flag issued a distress call after being targeted 88 nautical miles off the southern coast of Yemen.

The company’s statement indicates that the ship sustained significant damage.

Reuters had reported that the ship was linked to Israel.

This operation is the latest in a series of Yemeni operations that have exceeded 50 since the start of the Israeli navigation ban in the Red Sea in November last year.

The timing of this new operation, which comes just a few days after the sinking of a British ship in the Red Sea, suggests a new turn in Yemeni operations, especially with ongoing statements about arrangements for surprises.
