Targeting a new ship in the Gulf of Aden

The British Navy confirmed on Wednesday the targeting of a new ship in the Gulf of Aden.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The British Commercial Operations Authority reported in a statement that a ship had reported being hit by a missile strike 50 miles southwest of the Gulf of Aden.

The authority did not specify the identity of the ship or details about its cargo.

Earlier, the authority announced that an American cargo ship had received instructions from Yemen to change its route while attempting to cross the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait.

It is not known whether the same ship or another one was targeted in the recent attack.

It is worth mentioning that Al Jazeera channel quoted maritime sources as saying that the new attack targeted an American ship in the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait.
