Detention of a new ship in the Arabian Sea

Today, an armed group seized a cargo ship believed to be associated with Israel in the Arabian Sea.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The British Trade Operations Organization reported that approximately 22 armed individuals seized an undisclosed cargo ship and forced its crew to sail towards the Somali coast.

The operation took place off the coast of the capital, Mogadishu, at the intersection of the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean.

No party has claimed responsibility.

This is the third time armed groups have seized commercial ships associated with the Israeli entity since Yemen’s decision to ban navigation to Israeli ports in the Red and Arabian Seas was imposed.

There is speculation that the armed group is affiliated with the Ansar Allah movement, which is engaged in fierce battles against the Israeli occupation and its allies in support of Gaza.
