America admits targeting its ship in the Gulf of Aden and its battleships in the Red Sea

The US confirmed on Thursday that its forces and one of its ships were targeted by Yemeni attacks in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

The US Central Command stated in a new statement that what it described as “the Houthis” targeted the American ship, MV Yorktown, with a ballistic missile, noting that the ship belongs to the US and was carrying the crew of 18 of them Americans.

The statement further explained that another attack, carried out by approximately four drones, targeted American battleships in the Red Sea.

The US admission came hours after a statement by the Yemeni Armed Forces, which confirmed the execution of three naval operations against American and Israeli ships in the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean.

These recent operations are considered the largest within hours.
