Confrontations in the Gulf of Aden result in damage to an Italian ship and a Greek battleship

The Gulf of Aden witnessed new confrontations between Yemeni forces and Western battleships on Thursday, this follows a day after Yemen’s largest forces operations.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Navigation sources revealed that a missile attack targeted an Italian ship that was on its route to Israeli ports. Smoke plumes were seen rising from the front of the ship.

The British Commercial Operations Authority confirmed that the ship had been hit, confirming that a fire had broken out at its bow.

Reports differ regarding the name of the ship, as some media outlets mentioned it as “MSC Drawan V 1.”

Sources reported that further clashes erupted between Yemeni forces and a Greek battleship operating within the “Aspides” mission, confirming that it was hit.

These new operations come a day after the Yemeni Armed Forces announced the execution of three operations against American ships and battleships in the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, and Indian Ocean.

These ongoing operations indicate the Yemeni forces’ decision to escalate their operations in response to the Israeli occupation’s movements to invade Rafah, the last shelters of Gaza residents.
