Sana’a forces announce targeting a British oil ship and shooting down an advanced American drone

Sana’a forces have announced targeting a British oil ship in the Red Sea with appropriate naval missiles and shooting down an American combat unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the skies of Sa’ada province.

In a statement issued by Sana’a forces, it was mentioned that the naval forces targeted the British oil ship “ANDROMEDA STAR” in the Red Sea with suitable naval missiles, directly hitting it.

The statement also added that the air defenses shot down an MQ-9 American drone while it was carrying out hostile missions in the skies of Sa’ada province.

The MQ-9 Reaper is the latest American combat UAV, and its value exceeds $30 million.

An American official admitted the crash of an MQ-9 Reaper drone in Yemen, according to the American CBS network.

This is the third MQ-9 drone of its kind to be shot down by Yemen since the start of Yemeni military operations in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
