Thousands of Gazans have once again been forced to flee under bombardment from the north and center of the Strip after the Israeli army called for evacuation and announced that Hamas was regrouping in these areas.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza Strip warned on Monday of health system collapse in Gaza within “a few hours” due to fuel shortages after more than seven months of war and in light of Israel’s restriction of humanitarian aid to the besieged enclave.
The ministry said in a brief statement, “A few hours separate us from the collapse of the health system in the Gaza Strip as a result of the failure to bring in the fuel necessary to operate electricity generators in hospitals, ambulances and the transfer of employees.”
