After being targeted twice within 24 hours, Eisenhower moves away from Yemen

The USS Eisenhower, the American aircraft carrier, has retreated over 200 kilometers north of the Red Sea after being targeted by the armed forces and directly hit on Friday, May 31, 2024.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Military observers have noticed a change in the landing area for logistical support aircraft of the Eisenhower, moving from a location off Abha in Saudi Arabia in the Red Sea to a point at least 200 kilometers away off Jeddah.

This withdrawal comes despite the US’ attempt to deny that the aircraft carrier, valued at around $13 billion, was targeted.

Sana’a renewed its targeting of the Eisenhower on Saturday, in addition to directly hitting another American warship. It also announced the execution of four operations against commercial ships belonging to companies involved in supplying Israel.
