Palestinian sources in the Gaza Strip warned that more than 3,500 children are at risk of death in the Strip, due to Israeli starvation policies and shortages of food and medicines.
“More than 3,500 children under the age of five are at risk of gradual death in the Gaza Strip due to the Israeli army’s policies of starving children, lack of milk and food, lack of nutritional supplements, depriving them of vaccinations and preventing the entry of humanitarian aid for the fourth week in a row amid terrible international silence,” the sources said.
“These children suffer from advanced malnutrition that has affected their body structure، effectively putting them at risk of contracting infectious diseases that are killing their lives.
The source stressed, “Children need a radical and immediate treatment of all the crises they are exposed to systematically by the Israeli army, foremost of which is the provision of food, health care, nutritional supplements, vaccinations and food intended for children.”
