An American Naval Institute: Sana’a forces are among the most active and innovative naval aggressors in the world

The American Institute for Maritime Studies, in a recent report, acknowledged the development of the naval capabilities of the Sana’a forces, recognizing that the “Houthis” have become “among the most active and innovative naval aggressors in the world.”

Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The report issued by the specialized institute clarified that “the US Department of Defense should launch a testing initiative in the Red Sea, using unmanned surface boats to reduce risks, lower operational costs, and accelerate innovation.”

The report revealed that “Washington has spent over one billion dollars without achieving real naval superiority in the face of Yemeni attacks,” which it described as “characterized by resilience and tactical innovation that confounded American systems.”

This report comes in the wake of the naval confrontations that occurred over a year and a half in the Red Sea, which saw the US naval fleets suffer a series of failures in confronting the advanced naval capabilities of the Sana’a forces, culminating in Trump’s announcement last May to halt raids on Yemen after months of explicit aggression, against the backdrop of the effectiveness of Yemeni operations.
