Fires overwhelm the government’s headquarter in Aden

A huge fire broke out early Saturday, inside the residence of the Saudi-backed Hadi’s government, in the southern port city of Aden, local sources said
Local sources said that the flames were seen rising at dawn from inside the Palace of Al-Masheeq, where Hadi’s new government has been in place since its arrival a month ago.

The sources explained that a massive smoke cloud covered the sky of the area around the palace as fire brigades failed to control it.
The cause of the fire is not yet known, according to the sources.
Saudi forces had earlier sent large reinforcements to the Al-Masheeq palace, which includes various equipment and weapons.
This indicates that there are concerns for Hadi’s government, which has escalated threats by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) to expel her from the city, especially after several attempts to target it began with attacking Aden airport during the arrival its officials about a month ago.
