In conjunction with the resumption of prisoner exchange negotiations between Sana’a and the Saudi-Emirati coalition, political sources pointed to Hadi’s exclusion and his legitimacy for the Southern Transitional Council and not represented in Hadi government delegation at the prisoner exchange negotiations, which began its first session last Sunday in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
Political sources also indicated that the prisoners of STC who fought in Abyan and were captured by Hadi and Islah forces, their fate remains ambiguous, and the prisoners who were captured and abused in a brutal manner and by Islah elements, documenting their torture immediately, after their capture with video clips, sources said that the perpetrators of all these actions have not been held accountable, which is a major breach by the STC towards those who fought with them. They were subjected to these brutal acts of torture and insults by Islah fighters on the fighting fronts in Abyan.
