President of pro-Houthis Supreme Political Council (SPC), the highest ruling authority in Sana’a, Mahdi al-Mashat, has on Thursday opened the “Martyr Commander Exhibition,” which coincides with the anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyed Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi, founder of Anssarullah movement until his death in 2004.

Al-Mashat toured all the wings of the exhibition and listened to information given by the Ministry of Defense about details of the combat and tactical characteristics and operational effectiveness of displayed weapons.

The exhibition unveiled several weapons for the first time to the public, after they proved their efficiency and high effectiveness in the field, ranging from ballistic and winged missiles, to aircraft drones.

The exhibition also included naval, anti-tank and infantry weapons, as well as artillery, sniper rifles and other weaponry.

President of Houthi SPC praised the efforts of all military industry workers and exhibition operators, expressing his great pleasure and pride in what he saw.

Al-Mashat stressed that these achievements at the strategic level are a “striking hand in the context of deterring the ongoing “aggression” against the Yemeni people.”

He further praised the great achievements and quality of the Sana’a Armed Forces at various levels in the field, such as its productivity and its research and development.

For his part, Defence Minister in Sana’a National Salvation Government, Major General Mohammed al-Atifi praised the role played by the Leader of the Anssarallah, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, in taking care of developing the defense capabilities and the Yemeni military industries.

Meanwhile, the official spokesperson of Sana’a Forces, Brigader Genneral Yahya Sarie, pointed out that the exhibition will create new manufacturing momentum in various fields and military disciplines, which Yemenis have reached today, due to their steadfastness, sacrifices and the directives of the “revolutionary leadership”.
