In the midst of events that took place in the southern and eastern provinces during the past two days, the name of “Houthi” became the most important figure in the comments of politicians and activists, amid accusations between “legitimate” parties of working to his favor, what reflects the influence of this bewildering character to the world, which suddenly appeared to the surface after more than two decades of attempts to silence his voice with iron and fire. Does this represent a Yemeni consensus on the personality of “Anssarallah” leader?
After the Emirati-backed transitional supporters stormed the headquarters of Hadi government in Aden, his opponents in legitimacy and even Saudi Arabia itself began to describe what happened as a service to what it called “Houthis” as they justify what happened as aiming to confuse the attempts to defend on Marib against Sana’a forces and create a new reality, granting STC the right to represent the south in the comprehensive solution negotiations.
Although the demonstrations in Aden, which suffers from a tragic situation, raised humanitarian slogans, the transitional, whose president repeated the offer in his last media appearance on CNN channel, to dialogue with Sana’a to build a country from two regions, and he was standing behind the demonstration, and many of its leaders were involved in mobilization and incitement against Hadi and his government in Aden.
Despite what the transitional sacrificed for the sake of Saudi war on Yemen 6 years ago, that’s was not enough to spare him to raise his name from the list of accusations on loyalty to Iran. Describing them as another face of what it describes as “Houthis,” by Saudis and its factions. The Saudi ambassador, Muhammad Al Jaber, repeatedly renewed and repeated his statement that STC did not participate in the war and reduced its sacrifices. the Saudi ambassador statement recently provoked the prominent leader in STC and a member of the Socialist Parliamentary Bloc, Aidaroos Al-Naqib, to remind Al Jaber of what he considers sacrifices for the sake of the coalition before the arrival of Saudi support.
Generally, the walls of Aden streets still decorated their walls with the slogans of the cry, it is a message accusing STC of standing behind it to blackmail Saudi Arabia. The STC is not the only southern component that seems to pin high hopes for Sana’a or those who describe them as Houthis. Many southern powers, especially in the movement, are betting on Sanaa’s change to the equation in the south and north, which will ultimately lead to the exclusion of the “legitimacy” system. Or what is known as the “7-7” coalition that launched a war in the 1990s against the south, this bet emerged originally from what Hussein Al-Ezzi, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in the rescue Government describes, is that both parties are in the same prison system. Not to mention the dedication of Sana’a leaders in their speeches on the concept of southern grievance during the era of the former regime.
The file in the matter is not even in the hand of transitional or the forces of the southern movement, but rather in the “legitimacy” itself, in its part “Hadi-Islah.”The Deputy Director of Hadi’s Office for Economic Affairs, Ahmed Al-Eisi, has just expressed and highlighted his men during a new meeting that Houthis are “trusted in dealing with them. In an indication that Anssarallah movement is attracting the attention of high-ranking leaders in this “illegal” component, and before that Islah party, the spokesperson of the reconciliation committee in Sana’a, Muhammad al-Bukhaiti, did not hide the existence of an agreement with a current within it. The party remained accused of collaborating with Sana’a, especially after the major withdrawals from its strongholds in Nehm, Marib and Al-Jawf. In addition to concluding agreements outside UN framework, the most prominent of which is the prisoners file. Add to that, Tariq Saleh, who refuses to fight to defend on Marib, the most prominent stronghold of Islah party, he hastened to conclude an agreement with Sana’a forces in Hodeidah secretly. Likewise, the anti-coalition forces of Al-Mahrah, which supported the financing of releasing a songs clip, praising Houthi in facing coalition and asking for his rescue.
These developments are, in fact, a natural product of Sanaa’s dealings with all its opponents and its desperate attempts to bring all Yemenis together on one table of agreement. The head of its negotiating delegation, Abdusalam Salah, during his last interview apologized for any mistakes they had made, he calls on everyone to dialogue, and this in itself is rarely picked up by the overwhelmed Yemeni political forces by the vanity of the coalition that targets them before others, this calls for further consideration and circumventing on the personality of ”Houthi” as long as it is respected by all forces.
