Sana’a Accused Saudi of Suspending 10 Prisoner-swap Deals

The head of Houthis-run Prisoners’ Affairs Committee, Abdul Qadir Al-Murtadha said that Saudi-led coalition has rejected more than 10 prisoner exchange deals that included more than 500 prisoners.

“More than 10 exchanges involving more than (500) prisoners of war from both sides negotiated with local mediation in the fronts of Marib, Jawf, and Taiz about two months ago and now are still pending due to the Saudi refusal to implement them despite the consensus even on the names of the parties,” Al-Murtadha wrote on Twitter on Sunday.
