Aden: 65 Detainees Go on Hunger Strike in UAE-run Prison

Dozens of prisoners and detainees went on hunger strike in in the UAE-run prison of Bir Ahmed in the southern port city of Aden, human rights sources told (YPA).

More than 65 prisoners and detainees in Bir Ahmed prison have been on hunger strike for four days, according to city human rights sources.

The sources said that the prisoners’ strike due to ill-treatment by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s forces.
