Sana’a Accused UN of Allowing Al-Qaeda to Use IDPs Shields in Marib

Deputy Foreign Minister, Hussein Al-Ezzi, said on Wednesday the United Nations has allowed Al-Qaeda elements and the Islah forces to use the internally displaced persons (IDPs) camps as human shields in Marib city.

Al-Ezzi on Twitter described the action taken by Al-Qaeda and Ali Mohsen and the militias of the Islah Party as a horrific moral and humanitarian fall.

“They are establishing military trenches and fortifications among the IDPs’ camps and preventing them from leaving for a safe place, while the United Nations is silent towards those degraded and cowardly acts,” Al-Ezzi added.
