Coalition Destroys 9,812 Historical Sites in Yemen

The Saudi-led coalition has destroyed about 9,812 historical and antiquarian sites since the beginning of the war on Yemen in March 2015.

Al Hudhud Center for Archaeological Studies revealed during a press conference held on Saturday in the capital, Sana’a, a number of destroyed antiquarian and historical sites reached 63, including 3 sites registered in the World Heritage.

The report stated that since which the coalition also destroyed 9,750 historical monuments, and 102 mosques and sanctuaries, in addition to nine museums.
