Informed sources have revealed on Friday that the UAE occupation forces making new constructions on the Yemeni island of Socotra.
The sources said that the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) Militia has seized large areas in the vicinity of Socotra port and handed it over to UAE forces, which have begun new construction work and turned them into military barracks.
Activists said on social media that the UAE is deliberately tampering with the World Heritage-listed island of Socotra.
They called on the international community to stop the UAE’s tampering in the Socotra archipelago.
