Qasef-2K Hits ‘Military Site’ Inside Saudi Air Base

Sana’a Forces Spokesman announced that the Air Force of Sana’a army targeted, on Thursday an important military site at King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait overnight, with an indigenously-manufactured Qasef-2K drone.

“The military site at King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait was accurately hit,” Brigadier General Yahya Sarie wrote in a post published on his Twitter page early Thursday.

He indicated that targeting Saudi sites is “a natural and legitimate response to the escalation of (aggression) and the all-over siege on our country.”

On Tuesday, Sana’a Air Force carried out a successful drone attack against a “military site” within the Abha International Airport in southwestern Saudi Arabia, using a Qasef-2K drone.

The retaliatory attacks came shortly after Sarie said the Sana’a Forces were preparing for a large-scale counteroffensive to avenge the blood of martyr Saleh Ali Al-Sammad, the first president of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council.

The spokesman made the remarks on the third anniversary of Sammad’s martyrdom on April 19, 2018 in an attack by Saudi warplanes against his vehicle in Hodeidah province.
