Sana’a Calls on WFP to Increase Cash Assistance by More Than 400%

Mohammad Ali al-Houthi, Member of the Supreme Political Council (SPC), the highest ruling authority in Sana’a, said that the world food program commented on the high prices that it reached 200%.

Al-Houthi said that the WFP announced the provision of assistance to 6500 riyals, which means that it did not consider the price increase, but rather dealt with the conditions before the siege and war.

Al-Houthi called in his tweeter page the World Food Program to increase the cash assistance by more than the price increase reached to 400% for the eligible citizen to benefit from what is provided.
