The head of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) Aidroos Al-Zubaidi, returned on Saturday to Aden city, south of Yemen.
Local sources said that the return of the STC head to Aden came after increasing tensions between the “STC” and Riyadh on the one hand, and the “Hadi government.
The sources in the city said, Al-Zubaidi returned on board a private Emirati plane that took him from his residence in Abu Dhabi to Aden airport.
Earlier, the head of the so-called National Assembly of the STC, Ahmed Saeed bin Buraik, stated, “There are attempts to thwart the Riyadh Agreement on the ground by the Hadi government.”
