Several leaders of the so-called the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) called on military units to raise the whole combat readiness to fight battles with its opponents in Aden city, south of Yemen, YPA said Saturday.
This came during a meeting held by the STC head, Aidroos Al-Zubaidi, who called on the people of the southern governorates to cooperate with the STC’s forces to face any challenges in the coming period.
Meanwhile, a number of observers said the call reveals the preparations of the STC’s militants to wage a new battle with “Hadi” forces, and it may be preceded by a mass arrest campaign of those affiliated with the Islah party.
