The UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) was summoned on by the Saudi authorities to present to the Saudi capital Riyadh.
A leader in the STC affirmed the readiness of the STC’s delegation to go to “Riyadh” and discuss the reasons for differences with the Saudi-backed Hadi government.
Jamal bin Otaif, a member of the “National Assembly of the STC, said that “the STC negotiating delegation would go to Riyadh at the invitation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”
The relationship between the STC and Hadi’s government is witnessing tension after the STC rejected most of the presidential decisions, especially those related to the judiciary and the Shura Council.
