Sana’a Delegation Discusses with UN Envoy Humanitarian Situation

The head of the Sana’a negotiating delegation, Mohammed Abdulsalam, discussed on Thursday the UN envoy for Yemen, Martin Griffiths, the humanitarian situation in Yemen.

This came during a meeting held in the Omani capital, Muscat, with the UN envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths and his team.

Abdulsalam said on Twitter, that the meeting discussed the acceleration of the humanitarian agreement given the humanitarian situation that the Yemeni people suffer as a result of the unjust blockade, preventing the entry of oil derivatives and closing the airports.

The head of the Sana’a delegation pointed out that the acceleration of the humanitarian agreement would pave the way for entering into broader discussions for reaching a permanent ceasefire and a comprehensive political settlement.
