Hundreds of protesters of Taiz took to the stresses of the province on Thursday to condemn corruption and the high cost of living, YPA said.
According to sources, the protesters demanded the local authority to leave.
The sources pointed out that Islah Party-affiliated gunmen deployed along Jamal Street, where the demonstrations took place, in an attempt to terrorize the rebellious citizens.
The demonstrators vowed to continue the revolutionary action until the fall of the “Hadi government” and the Saudi-led coalition’s departure from Yemen.
They held the government of Hadi and the coalition responsible for the destruction of the economy and growing corruption.
