Sana’a Accuses Saudi Arabia of Obstructing Prisoner Exchange Deals

The head of pro-Houthis National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs, Abdul Qadir Al-Mortada, revealed Saudi dictates to its sponsored forces in Yemen, to stop all prisoner exchange deals.

Al-Mortada said on Twitter on Sunday: “New Saudi directives to “mercenaries” to stop all deals agreed locally.”

He affirmed that the Saudi directives have led to the suspension of seven prisoner exchange swaps on several fronts, including 400 prisoners from both sides.
