UN Has Not Provided Even Suction Device for Yemen’s Children: Sana’a

The Minister of Public Health and Population in Sana’a government, Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakel, said on Monday that the United Nations has not even provide the children of Yemen with a suction device or any other supplies of operating rooms.

This came during his visit to the Pediatric Department at the Republican Hospital in Saada province, where he inspected the condition of a child with congenital malformations as a result of the Saudi-led coalition’s use of internationally-prohibited weapons in bombing the province.

The one-year-old child needs a device to suction fluids from the brain.

Dr. Al-Mutawakel held the United Nations responsible for the life of this child and thousands like him in Yemen.
