Activists on social media launched on Wednesday an attack on the United Nations after one of its organization announced a tender to provide food for dogs in Yemen.
The activists circulated a picture of the announcement of a United Nations organization, explaining that “this measure represents a disregard for the Yemeni people who suffer from the siege and hunger imposed by the Saudi-led coalition.”
They considered that the United Nations organizations raise the slogan of hunger and malnutrition in order to obtain large financial aid in the name of Yemen, while that aid are spent on the organization’s employees who have recently added dogs with them.
It is noteworthy that the United Nations published recently a report talking about the spread of famine in Yemen in the event that it was not provided with financial aid to overcome it.
