Fierce clashes erupted on Saturday between Saudi-backed Islah troops and Baihan tribes in Shabwa province, eyewitnesses said.
The eyewitnesses confirmed that members of Islah’s “special forces” at Hofra point, prevented the sons of Baihan from reaching and participating in the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s festival in the city of Abadan.
The sources indicated that the tribal gunmen from the sons of Baihan responded to the sources of Islah’s fire to continue their march to Abadan.
