Marib: Tens of Detainees Continue Hunger Strike

About 33 detainees from sons of Marib province continued their hunger strike in jails that run by the Saudi-led coalition in the province, YPA reported

The strike came in protest against the refusal of the Islah Party authorities in Marib to free the detainees after the court’s decision to release.

A document, signed by the detainees inside Marib prisons, held the Islah group the consequences of the arbitrary arrest against the sons of the Amir family for more than two years inside prisons.

The prisoners called on all human rights organizations to quickly intervene and pressure the Islah group to release them.

According to local sources, a number of Al-Amir family sons have been tortured by Islah groups in the jails in Marib for two years.
