Sana’a Ready to Release All Prisoners: Al-Mortada

The head of the National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs in Sana’a government, Abdel Qadir Al-Mortada, affirmed on Sunday Sanaa’s readiness to conduct an exchange deal that includes all prisoners.

This came during his meeting with the President of the International Committee of the Red Cross ICRC), Peter Maurer, to discuss the latest developments in the prisoners’ file.

Al-Mortada called on the ICRC to take serious action to visit all prisons and learn about the conditions of prisoners and the fate of the disappeared.

“We provided a full explanation of the violations practiced by the Saudi-led coalition forces against the prisoners to the ICRC,” he added.
