Taiz: Demonstrators Demand Trial of Governor

Angry protests continued on Friday in the areas under the control of the Saudi-led coalition in the center of Taiz city, demanding accountability and prosecution of the corrupt.

After Friday prayers, hundreds of citizens staged a protest in front of the building of the local authority loyal to “Hadi government” on Jamal Street, calling for the dismissal and trial of all those accused of corruption without selection.

The protesters demanded the dismissal and prosecution of the governor, Nabil Shamsan, and all undersecretaries in all local authority facilities and their supporters in the corruption.
