Threatened with Imprisonment, Dozens of Coalition’s Wounded Abroad Untreated

Dozens of wounded sent by the Saudi-led coalition for treatment have been subjected to insults and threats of imprisonment in India, Islah Party-affiliated Balqis TV reported.

In an interview with Balqis TV, the wounded complained they are suffering from the deterioration of their health and difficult financial situation, which amounted to the inability to obtain food and drink after they mortgaged their passports and everything they owned to restaurants and shops.

“Balqis” TV channel affiliated with the Yemeni Islah Party reported the difficult situation of the wounded, who have reached a state that they cannot feed themselves.

The wounded indicated that they would be at any time subjected to imprisonment by the Indian police, due to the debts that they have accumulated for restaurants, housing owners and others.

They held the Saudi-backed Hadi government the responsible for the deterioration of the medical conditions due to the failure to fulfill its financial obligations towards them to conduct medical treatment.

The wounded pointed out that they are exposed to permanent disabilities for not performing surgeries, revealing the extent of corruption practiced by the Hadi government and its illegal institutions against those who pushed them to fight for its interests.

They have complained of being insulted and threatened with imprisonment due to the failure of their leadership to fulfill its financial obligations towards them.

Some wounded even confirmed that they mortgaged their passports and most of what they owned to get food and drink from restaurants and shops, in addition to their inability to pay the rent.

According to the channel, the wounded who fought in the ranks of the coalition are liable to be imprisoned at any time by the Indian police because of the accumulated debts for restaurants, housing owners and others, not to mention the discontinuation of treatment and the failure to perform the surgeries scheduled for them.

The wounded told the channel that they are vulnerable to permanent disabilities; for not performing surgeries, which reveals the ugliness and the extent of corruption practiced by Hadi’s government and its illegal institutions and committees against those it pushed them to fight for its interests.
