Sana’a Calls on Citizens Targeted by Coalition to File Lawsuit

Acting Minister of Human Rights, Ali Al-Dailami in Sana’a government, called on citizens who have suffered damage and massive loss of life or property to file lawsuits against the Saudi-led coalition countries and its backed forces in Yemen.

This came during a press conference held by the Human Rights Office in Hodeida on Thursday on the human rights situation as a result of the Saudi-led coalition.

Al-Dailami considered the continuous targeting by the coalition forces against Hodeida province, which is the main artery of life in Yemen, as a crime aimed to target more than 70 percent of the population.

He stressed that the blockade is one of the most prominent crimes committed against the Yemeni people, especially preventing the entry of oil derivatives ships, which help operating essential services and alleviating the suffering of citizens.

The statement touched on the crimes and violations of human rights by the coalition countries and their against civilians along the western coast, denouncing the silence of the international community and human rights organizations regarding these crimes.
