Saudi media admitted on Monday the Saudi-led coalition forces’ defeat of the battle in Marib province at the hands of Sana’a forces and the popular committees (Houthis’ fighters) on the fronts north, west and south of Marib city.
Al Arabiya TV, funded by Saudi Arabia, quoted a military official in the coalition forces as saying:” “The reason for the retreat of the coalition forces on the Marib fronts is due to partisan quarrels and the calculations of some political parties that work for their personal interest and not for the sake of legitimacy.”
The official explained that some of military leaders think only of their interests and reject the orders of the “Hadi government” and the command of the coalition, which makes them subject to these scandalous defeats.
