The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias kidnapped on Wednesday a director of gas company in the city of Aden, south of Yemen.
According to sources, a number of elements of the STC in Al-Mualla area stormed the gas company’s office and took the company’s director, Murad Nasser Sheikh, to one of its prisons in the area.
The arrest of the director of the company in Aden Sheikh came after disputes with one of the sons of Dhalea, who owns a gas agency in the city.
The operation came against the background of the conflict between the leaders of the “STC” and the officials of the gas company in Aden over the looting of the city’s share of domestic gas.
