Exclusive- Alkhabar alyemeni:

This comes after they appeared in Sana’a for the first time since their capture by Sana’a forces during the battles of Lahij.

Tribal sources in Al-Sabihah reported that the Sultanate is making efforts to release Al-Subaihi and Rajab as part of a deal with “Houthis”, the details were not clarified.

Hadi, who insisted during the prisoner negotiations round on the release of his brother Mansour, had dropped Al-Subaihi’s name from the prisoner exchange list, which caused the failure of the last rounds, allowing STC to seize the opportunity to lead negotiations with “Houthis” in order to strengthen its position in the south.

It is not known who is seeking to release Al-Subaihi, but its timing indicates that southern parties with influence on the ground are heading to conclude deals to stabilize their position on the ground.
