Saudi Ambassador Confirms Deal Conclusion with Houthis

Saudi Arabia officially confirmed on Sunday, the conclusion of deals with “Houthis” to release members of Al-Qaeda.

The Saudi ambassador to Yemen, Muhammad Al Jaber, re-published a tweet for Sana’a Center of Studies funded by US intelligence, it talks about prisoner exchange deals between coalition and Sana’a forces, according to which al-Qaeda members and leaders released.

The ambassador’s reposting to the tweet prompted activists, led by human rights defender Hoda Al-Attas, to demand the ambassador for more clarification, on the details of those deals, the role of United Nations, and where they were taken, it also asked him to reveal the role of these elements in “legitimacy” forces and the party that was desperate to release them.
