The Saudi-led coalition launched 7,100 air raids on Yemen, including 5,200 on Marib province, during the year 2021, according to Spokesman of Sana’a forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie.

During a press conference held in Sana’a on Sunday, Brig. Gen. Sarie reviewed the military achievements in 2021, indicating that the coalition raids resulted in casualties among civilians, including dead and wounded, in addition to a significant destruction of infrastructure and citizens’ properties.

The spokesman confirmed that the coalition continued, during 2021, in launching raids and imposing the siege on Yemen, in addition to its attempts, through its various military formations, to control and occupy several areas of the country.

He revealed that the Sana’a forces backed by the popular committees (Houthis’ fighters) repelled, during the last year, 223 offensives of the coalition forces and thwarted 166 attempts to advance.
