Coalition Steps Up Airstrikes on Sana’a and Provinces

Saudi-led coalition warplanes have launched a series of airstrikes on the capital, Sana’a, and nearby regions in the early hours of Wednesday, a security source in Sana’a government said.

The source explained that coalition warplanes carried out five raids on the capital Sana’a, four of which on the old radio station in the Al-Hasbah area, in the middle of residential neighborhoods and one airstrike on the vicinity television building in the directorate of al-Thawra.

In Sana’a province, coalition warplanes launched five raids on the Jarban area of Sanhan district.

At dawn Tuesday, about 42 airstrikes by the Saudi-led coalition hit various areas in Taiz, Sana’a, Marib and Jawf provinces.

According to security officials, the coalition warplanes targeted Marib with 13 raids, including eight on Al-Jouba district, three others on Raghwan district, as well as two on the Majzar district.

In addition, the fighters’ jets launched eight raids on Jabal Habashi district and other three on Tabisha’a area in Sabr Al-Mawadim district of Taiz, while four raids on Al-Matoun and Al-Masloub districts in Jawf province.

Earlier in the day, the Eelier in the day, the fighter jets targeted the capital, Sana’a, with 10 raids, including five on the old radio station in Al-Hasaba area in the middle of residential neighborhoods, and three strikes on the vicinity of the TV building, as well as three on al-Saianah residential neighborhood in Al-Thawra district and Bani Hushish district.

On Sunday, the coalition combat jets launched 17 strikes on Marib, 5 on Jawf, three on Taiz, two others on Saada, two on Bayda and Amran.
