STC Accuses Saudi Coalition of Engineering Economic Crises in South Yemen

A spokesman for the UAE-backed “Southern Transitional Council (STC), accused the Saudi-led coalition states of fabricating economic crises in Yemen’s southern provinces.

STC’s spokesman, Ali Al Kathiri, said: “There are many great challenges faced by our people in the south, through fabricating economic crises, pressures and practices aimed at bringing people under control by fighting them in their services and livelihood,” referring to the pressures of the coalition.

Al-Kathiri added to the sons of Hadramout have the right to manage their military, security and economic affairs, calling on the forces of the “first military region loyal to the Islah Party, to withdraw in accordance with what he called the “Riyadh Agreement signed between the “STC” and the Saudi-backed exiled Hadi government.

This came during opening ceremony of the works of the first session of the founding body in the city of Seiyun.
